I love you

Love spills out of me
Like a wildfire
There’s not enough of it
For this world
So I feed the flames as much
As I can

To any soul my heart touches
For every friend I adore
Love comes spilling out
To greet them

People don’t hear it enough
That they’re loved
And cared for
And considered
So I bleed it out
At every chance
Disallowing anything
To be extinguished

I embrace with joy
And comfort and care
I call the girls “my love”
To let them know
For whatever, I’ll be there

When I’m concerned
I turn to feed them
“Honey” spilling out my mouth
