What the Spring Rain Said

The rain was burbling
the whole spring.
I nodded.

The rain rebels against winter;
robins are scouts;
I’m the battlefield.

An egret glides over the spring.
The rain sounds a bit
greener.

What a shame!
That rain drop on my fingertip
was supposed to sprout!

The rain stopped.
My window feels as dizzy
as the spring.
6
If we meet in rain,
I can see the kiss
Spring gave you.
