Recap: Durham City re-elects Roberta Blackman-Woods as MP

At 4am this morning, Labour won the City of Durham constituency, with the Conservatives coming second for the first time since 1997. UKIP came third whilst the Liberal Democrat vote plummeted by over 26% to finish fourth. The Greens finished fifth.
Blackman-Woods refused to comment to Palatinate about Labour’s national performance. The Conservative and Green candidates praised students campaigners for their help.
