City of Culture prize money proposed to reopen Durham’s DLI Museum

The Butcher’s Deli in Durham closes just one year after opening

Man rescued from River Wear by CitySafe patrollers

Police were called to Old Elvet Bridge in the early hours of Saturday 19th February over reports that a man entering the River Wear. CitySafe volunteers helped rescue the man, who was later taken to hospital.
