The Financial Skills Partnership (FSP) has launched a new website which showcases work opportunities and advice available to students and graduates interested in a career in finance.

Directions.org.uk is an online careers guide where opportunities for work experience and graduate schemes are advertised. The site also provides resources such as profiles of different career paths in the finance sector, and guides such as employers’ CV tips, what qualifications you need to progress in your career, and what employers really think of your degree subject.

The site covers financial sectors including accountancy, banking, finance, financial planning, insurance, investments and pensions. The FSP is the Sector Skills Council for finance, accountancy and financial services. It works with employers and the government to ensure the future and current workforce has the right skills to support sector development and serves as the ‘employers’ voice’ on skills.

Aviva, Barclays and HSBC are amongst the employers that use the site to advertise work experience, internships and graduate schemes.
